<description>Greetings and salutations from planet Kolob fellow emergents -

I was wanting to experience God in a new and exciting way so I tried the Ancient Art of Lectio Divina as promoted by Rob Bell.

I opened the Bible to Matthew 27:5 - “Judas hung himself” - as I meditated with a warm cup of Jarrah and chanted this over and over I had a strange sensation - it was as if my turtle neck sweater was getting tighter and tighter and felt like something was constricting my neck!!!

Am I just a noodlebrain post modern or was that an psychonurological manifestation of our existential predicatment???

Hmmm……I think theres something in that for all of us dont you…….</description>

<description>Funny enough, i found this website
while searching for a church in Melbourne:)
and I guess all what you write over here.. somehow resonates with me:)
I mean the Gospel..and the thirst to be like Jesus and to live a life pleasing God,
worship that is not limited by the "should" and "shouldnts" but is an expression of who we are before God..authenticity and being real with all our faults and sins..something that is truely hard to find in a 'traditional' kind of church:)and community...this speaks for itself..I cant even express how much I desire to share my life with others who love God, and be able to be who i was created to be, have coffee eat meals etc.
anyways, would love to hear/meet you guys...if you meet somewhere apart from online.
looking forward.

<description>hi, i found you when i googled marcus ardern. i was trying to find out what ever happened to him. he &#38; his preaching buddy, graeme carle, led me to Jesus early in 1976. i have found graeme carle preaching at hillside community church here in auckland, &#38; just tonight i struck up contact with marcus's twin brother in tauranga, also named graeme. i see that you have contact with marcus, so if you have an email addy for him that would be fun. if you give me yours, i can send you a copy of a great old "nz listener" article about his early days &#38; wonderful conversion. thanks for chatting! <description>Hey Matt,

Great catching up with you yesterday!
These values are great. Nothing can inspire me more when I read something that I feel God has penned.

Communities are elastic, nomadic, disjointed, unpredictable but God is forever constant, forever present and forever moulding.

I pray that he blesses these writings and this movement and stir's up a community of believers and non believers in Port Phillip that would come together to worship God in an authentic passion.

Take Care bud, be in touch soon
