Sunday Service
January 14th, 2008serv·ice ˈsɜr
vɪs/ [sur-vis] noun, adjective, verb, -iced, -ic·ing.
–noun
   1. an act of helpful activity; help; aid: to do someone a service.
It’s better to give than to receive..
Collecting rubbish from the street. BBQ for the poor. Sitting with senior citizens. These are some of the ideas that we’d like to try in the usual 10am time slot on Sunday mornings.
We’d like to propose an idea - an idea that the Christian Faith is more about loving and giving - more about us and them - than about me or you, receiving, or preferences.
Commencing on Sunday, 10th Febuary, we plan to commence ‘Sunday Service’. The order of service is simple. We’ll find something that we can do with the desire to bless others more than ourselves, and then after we may just find a tree or park bench, a spot on the beach or a living room where we can break bread and share in prayer or song together.
If you wish to join us, then please just ask. You can use the contact page, or leave a comment below. Your email address will not be made public.
[and any ideas for service below, please]
